Responsibilities:
Primarily responsible for the management of the Accenture team that supports the development lifecycle of requirements covering the various phases that Accenture resources are involved in: (1) Requirements Gathering, (2) Design, (3) Build, (4) Test, and (5) Deploy. Responsible for the oversight of the delivery of projects and product management in a portfolio.
This covers the following activities:
- Management of all Accenture Delivery for the relevant service (staff augmentation roles – PM, BA, TA, Development and Testing where applicable) for the designated portfolio
- Manage all incoming Work Orders of the Portfolio
- Manage timely submission and discussion of High-Level Estimates and Cost of the Portfolio
- Ensure timely status reporting of projects in a portfolio liaising with the Dyson IT Heads, Dyson Programme and Project Managers
- Client Relationship & Expectation Management involves discussions with the Client Management of the designated portfolio to build the relationship and ensure expectations regarding delivery from the Accenture side are aligned with the contract.
- Cross Portfolio Dependencies Management
- Risk & Issue Management of service level risks & issues
- Resource Management to address prioritization and escalation issues relating to the service of the portfolio
- Working with the team in each of the different areas of service on delivery help needed, ways of working, and overall workload management
- Escalation Management across all work delivered by the service – in Dyson, this would be across projects, product management, platform and release management across all the applications in the scope of the service for the designated portfolio
- Governance of the service and delivery aligned to service performance expectations
Other management responsibilities include:
- Pipeline Management - involves understanding the overall pipeline of work requested by the client in order to plan for the right resources needed for delivery, manage the overall workload of the team, and impact on financials given multiple priority 1s from the client
- Contract Management - involves managing the delivery against contract terms & expectations, reviewing all contracts and work orders prior to submission to Dyson, and adherence to the terms per the contract
- Financial Management - involves managing the financials covering operational tracking – contract vs spend, spend to date, billing & invoicing
