The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) invites applications for the position of Research Associate. The RA will work on a research project on the development of vision based robotic manipulation techniques for soft objects based on CNNs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Modelling of soft objects
- Development of robot vision system for detection and localization of soft objects using machine learning
- Development of control methods for manipulation of soft objects
Job Requirements:
- Master Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering
- Expertise in machine learning, robotics and control
- Experiences in robotics and machine learning related projects
- Good Publication track record
- Proficiency in basics of programming languages such as C, C++ and Python
- Proficiency in English
