Responsibilities:
- Design and create data models to store and access data for reporting and analysis.
- Organise, build and maintain data stores of structured and unstructured data on a Cloud environment.
- Build data pipelines to enable scalable processing of large volumes of data.
- Support data optimisation of real-time and batch Machine Learning models
- Work with stakeholders to identify and solve business needs related to advanced data processing.
- Work with data ingestion processes to identify data sets aligned to stakeholder’s requirements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or area with strong quantitative content
- 4 years of experience in data engineering
- Strong experience in Specialist Data Modeling
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience of managing messaging tools like Kafka.
- Experience in providing End to End Enterprise solution.
- Experience implementing complex ETL and data extraction projects from scratch.
- Fluency in Python, Spark, HIVE-QL, Hadoop eco-system, data-centric workflow management tools Unix/Linux/HDFS environments
- Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS
- Good working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience in Graph database desirable but not mandatory
- Thorough knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance regulations
- Basic skills in artificial intelligence and linear tree models
