Creative Hearts is looking for an inspiring and committed full time music teacher with a passion for education to join our team. Part time roles available too.
Responsibilities
- Teach music lessons to children aged 2 to 12 years old. Our programmes include early childhood music and movement, piano, singing, violin, ukulele and musical theatre. You must be able to teach at least one of the programmes and be willing to teach other programmes after training
- Create lesson plans and materials for classes
- Conduct holiday camps for kids
- Prepare students for concerts and exams
- Make lessons fun and engaging for our students
- Update parents on students' progress
- Teach in our centres at Pandan Valley, River Valley and at external venues such as preschools around Singapore
- Help with admin where necessary
Requirements
- Enjoy working with young children and a heart for helping them grow through music and the performing arts
- Able to engage, encourage, and motivate students to reach their goals
- Have a growth mindset, be a team player, and be able to commit and grow with our school
- Diploma or degree in music, musical theatre or drama
- Able to work on Saturday or Sunday
