Job Description
- Plans and controls the execution of the project. Prepares the manpower, machinery and materials requirement on site. To confirm the duration of each critical activity and construction programme.
- Regulates current activities with regards to work methods, technical solutions, resources input and other operational details.
- Delegate duties to respective site personnel such as Foreman, Project Engineers, Safety Officer, Quantity Surveyor and Site Clerk.
- Co-ordinates matters pertaining to site progress. Manpower and machinery utilisation, mobilisation schedule, certification of payment, site disputes, planning of site facilities and workers quarters etc.
- Communicates and maintains public relation with relevant parties and local authorities.
- Prepare and compile site progress reports for progress claims and monitoring project activities.
- To verify work done by subcontractors.
- To carry out other site works job duties as instructed.
Requirements
- Candidate to possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and relevant certificates.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the construction field.
- Preferably with Class 3 Driving licence.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Leadership, problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
