Public Relations Executive (Volunteer Management)

RESPONSIBILITIES

Events Management

  1. Planning and project management for major and ad-hoc events for TSA HQ and Centres (where necessary)
  2. Sourcing and co-ordinating all necessary vendor
  3. Sourcing and liasing with key event stakeholders and speakers
  4. Co-ordinating all logistical requirements
  5. Execute event communications plan for pre, actual, and post event
  6. Analytics for event performance metrics

Volunteer Management

  1. Arrange recruitment and selection activities for volunteers.
  2. Perform reactivation and reignition activities for passive volunteers.
  3. Carry out risk management measures for volunteers with the programme team.
  4. Design volunteer policies and processes and review existing ones.
  5. Conduct needs analyses for volunteer programmes.
  6. Conduct volunteer recognition and engagement activities.
  7. Conduct volunteer training programmes.
  8. Develop requirements for volunteer profiles.
  9. Ensure volunteer policies and processes are followed in programmes.
  10. Maintain engagement with key stakeholders and volunteers through various platforms.
  11. Maintain relationships with grassroots and community service organisations for volunteer recruitment.
  12. Maintain volunteer database and training records.
  13. Match volunteers to appropriate initiatives and programmes across our centres.
  14. Manage and nurture new and existing corporate CSR and ESG partnerships.
  15. Work with social service organisations, community stakeholders, corporate partners and agencies to develop volunteer programmes.
  16. You might be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks to support the team relating to marketing communications if the situation arises.
  17. Given the nature of the role, you might be required to work on weekends (fortnightly) to support various events for both HQ and centres.
QUALIFICATIONS

Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful volunteer recruitment and retainment strategies
  • Ability to conduct training and briefings to larges audiences
  • Ability to work with educational institutions on recruitment

Competencies

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
