Room Attendant

Arcadia Hotel Management Pte. Ltd.

Job Description:

  • Check and stock up all the necessary linens and amenities required for the day.
  • Responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas.
  • Perform rotation cleaning duties (thorough cleaning, shampoo carpet cleaning, etc) as required.
  • Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of her/his work area and ensure security of guestrooms and privacy of guests.
  • Check and report faulty items that needed repair to the Duty Manager while in the process of cleaning the guestrooms.
  • Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Duty Manager.
  • Check and record the number of soiled linen correctly.
  • Clean and maintain the trolley, equipment and vacuum cleaner after use.
  • Perform other duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
  • Able to understand and communicate in simple English.
  • Knowledge in use of vacuum cleaner and proper chemicals handling.
  • Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
  • Hardworking team player with pleasant personality.
  • Able to work on shift, including weekends and public holidays.
  • 6 days work / week.
  • Location: 32 Hamilton Road
