Job Description:
- Check and stock up all the necessary linens and amenities required for the day.
- Responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas.
- Perform rotation cleaning duties (thorough cleaning, shampoo carpet cleaning, etc) as required.
- Responsible for the cleanliness, maintenance of her/his work area and ensure security of guestrooms and privacy of guests.
- Check and report faulty items that needed repair to the Duty Manager while in the process of cleaning the guestrooms.
- Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Duty Manager.
- Check and record the number of soiled linen correctly.
- Clean and maintain the trolley, equipment and vacuum cleaner after use.
- Perform other duties as and when assigned.
Job Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping or related field.
- Able to understand and communicate in simple English.
- Knowledge in use of vacuum cleaner and proper chemicals handling.
- Functional knowledge in room cleaning.
- Hardworking team player with pleasant personality.
- Able to work on shift, including weekends and public holidays.
- 6 days work / week.
