DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This role forms part of the Leadership Team for the region, building capability and ensuring operational excellence from the tender phase through to project completion. This role is currently responsible for countries of operations of Shinryo’s Group Of Businesses.
Key accountabilities
· Lead, direct and manage regional commercial team with strategic execution and support to tenders submission for the region’s businesses.
· The efficient and effective management of the commercial, procurement and contractual activities for the region’s Business.
· The professional development of commercial, procurement, contract administration and project management staff in commercial matters.
· Regular interface with Group functions, including Commercial, Finance, Engineering etc.
Specifications
· Relevant tertiary qualification with a minimum of 15 years’ experience in project and contractual engineering with at least 10 years’ experience in the construction/engineering industry in a Senior Commercial management role.
· FRICS qualified or equivalent
· Demonstrate integrity and acumen in establishing and maintaining relationships internally and externally with stakeholders and customers.
· Significant working experience in Asia with a strong cultural understanding. Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual / legal issues and provide solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
· Sound commercial acumen accompanied by proven negotiation and inter-relationship skills evidenced by effective dispute resolutions.
· Able to quickly grasp concepts and apply innovative solutions to the status quo.
· Clear and definitive communication - written and verbal accompanied by competent presentation ability.
