Roles:
- Oversee financial accounting and reporting for local and ASEAN entities, including preparing annual financial statements, quarterly GST filings, and inventory costing sheets.
- Evaluate and enhance the efficiency of the organization's financial system in line with overall company goals.
- Interpret, investigate, and report variances to management, developing a comprehensive understanding of the relationships between these variances.
- Analyze financial performance, compile management information for decision-making, and provide strategic input based on current market trends.
- Offer financial leadership and strategic insights to drive sustainable value creation.
- Supervise the preparation of consolidated financial statements, business activity reports, and forecasts for management.
- Manage all finance-related aspects, such as financial reporting, regulatory compliance, audit, tax compliance, and cash flow management.
- Implement policies and procedures, emphasizing internal controls to prevent fraud and errors.
- Propose process solutions to innovate current work processes.
- Supervise and support subordinates in their professional and career development.
- Supervising logistics teams in a specific region, optimizing processes to improve overall logistics performance.
- Tracking logistics costs, which include transportation, warehousing, and handling expenses. Identifying opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
Requirements:
you will possess a degree in Accountancy or ACCA with the following relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience within the retail or FMCG industry
- Strong excel skills will be essential while exposure to BI tools will be ideal
- Prior regional exposure will be preferred but not a must
- Ability to be hands-on and work in a fast-paced environment.
