The Technical Superintendent is tasked with overseeing the technical aspects of the designated Livestock Carriers.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure that the vessels meet the required technical standards and perform at their best.
2. Maintain accurate and systematic records of the vessels’ certificates and documents.
3. Efficiently put the Company’s planned maintenance system into practice.
4. Coordinate, manage, and supervise class, statutory, and other vessel surveys.
5. Manage, oversee, and monitor dry-docking, as well as other vital repair and maintenance tasks.
6. Evaluate and improve the performance of the vessel’s crew.
7. Develop and manage the technical budgets for the vessels.
8. Undertake any additional assignments as assigned.
Requirements:
– Possess tanker seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer (with a COC Class 1 or 2), or have at least 2 years of experience in the role of a technical superintendent for Livestock Carriers.
