The responsibility of this role is to:
- Ensure accurate accounting and timely completion of audits
- Tax compliances
1. Accounting
- Ensuring accurate Purchase related accounting and periodic scrutiny of vendor accounts
- Ensuring accurate Sales related accounting and periodic scrutiny of customer accounts.
- Control and monitoring of vendor and customer focusing on aging and book hygiene
- Customer / Vendor Account Reconciliation
- Timely scrutiny of general ledgers
- Ensuring correctness in accounting of Cash and Bank transaction
- Fixed assets management
- Ensure expense are accounted in correct Profit Centre
- Ensure timely accounting of Journal Entries, Debit / Credit Note
- Bank Reconciliation.
- Trial Balance Finalization.
- Preparation of required data for Statutory Audit and getting the same audited
- Dealing with Statutory Auditors.
- Dealing with Internal Auditors, Cash flow planning, management, and control
2. Banking
- Preparation of remittance letters/requests and submission of the same to Banks
- Bank Charges Verification.
- Dealing with bankers for day-to-day affairs
3. Taxation
- Preparation and Filling of GST, Withholding tax, Annual Income Tax Returns
- Submission of information as required by IRAS during tax assessment
- Exposure to GTP will be an added strength
