Main Job Purpose:
Supply Chain Operations includes the processing, and operational control towers for managing all transactions pertaining to import-export operations, including customer service, supply planning, order processing, invoicing, and documentation.
Managing the overall supply planning Planning function for Singapore based business verticals in Unilever International. Key job scope includes:
- Operational Supply Planning
- Capacity Interlocking to support business growth (both medium term and long term)
- Sourcing Network Optimization
Inventory PlanningPerformance Management - Implement Digitization
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
To be the key point of accountability for the functioning of the Control Tower, which comprise of Unilever staff located in Singapore as well as an outsourced team.
- To be the custodian of all master data for the cross-border flows.
- Prepare a blueprint and project funnel for E2E operational capability program: Take survey and look at different KPIs and priorities for impact.
- Management of Outsourcing partner for transactions processing.
- To assess requirement of resources (in-house and outsourced) for the processing and control tower operations, Documentation management with the increase in volume of operations at the SC Ops unit and take necessary action to de-couple growth from back-office cost.
- Lead process improvements and change management as part of digital and transformation programs.
- Support new business models, acquisitions/divestitures, and any other projects requirements as an enabler to UI growth.
- Provide leadership, oversight, and guidance to E2E SC Teams located in Singapore.
- Responsible for development and performance management of all direct reports
- Represent the SC within Singapore, building and developing relationships with Marketing, Finance, Business Development and key Customers/Clients
- Business partnering business team to maximize turnover from SC network.
- Partner with Central Transformational, Planning, Logistics and Service Excellence Teams to drive continuous improvement and digitization agenda in Singapore region.
- Be part of Global SCLT & improve and deliver global S&OP and LTCP agenda.
- Conduct effective dialogue on assumptions and articulation of facts and evidence.
- Negotiate and influence the local decision-making process as part of S&OP
- Optimize global logistics operations and costs considering global logistics industry challenges.
- Represent our entity in the upstream Supply Chain, building and maintaining relevant relationships with Sourcing Units to deliver high performance.
- Identify, develop, and drive Singapore sourcing resilience program with Central Team to ensure supply to global markets
- Managing supply chain cost by optimizing network
Overall: Drive a UI-fit I Ops design – Structure, Ops with tech backing it.
Project Management
- Work with market leads to ensure all new product launches are achieved on time and minimize impact to service, cost, inventory and operational effectiveness.
- Business partner commercial team to ensure maximize turnover in each geography by analyzing gaps in supply plan and come up with mitigation plans.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred
- FMCG experience PREFERRED Candidates with APICS certification.
- Process Excellence / Six Sigma Certification
- Import-export operations, Customer Service, Supply Planning, Documentation management
- Business process mapping and re-engineering
- Root cause analysis and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work with outsourced partners and managed them through SLAs.

Essentials
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 15 or more years’ experience in Supply Chain with at least 7 years of management experience.
- E2E supply chain experience ideally within customer service, planning and logistics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate as a global virtual team
