Job Responsibilities: -
- Enhance growth of YMS-Retail Enrolment through effective advertising and promotion planning, implementation, and close monitoring of Retail schools’ advertising and promotion activities.
- Achievement of Retail Schools’ Enrolment budget.
Advertising and Promotion
- To work with Manager in the planning & execution of Retail YMS annual A&P plans.
(a) Campaign / Creative Execution
- To assist in the execution of quarterly campaigns from ideation to design and copywriting.
- Photoshoot and video shoot of campaign contents when necessary.
- To develop campaign artworks based on approved sizing on social media and Google.
- Ensure campaign details are successfully implemented across various channels including our official website.
(b) Digital Marketing (BTL)
- Execution of daily social media posts on various social media platforms.
- Conceptualisation and design of digital contents while ensuring compliance with brand position, brand standards and usage guidelines.
- Assist Retail branches with the design and development of Trial Lesson schedules and announcements.
- Ensure Trial Lesson details are successfully implemented across various channels including our official website.
- Monitor various media platforms options and propose any new social media platforms and tools to further enhance online presence.
(c) Print Advertising (ATL)
- Design and development of official posters for event, competition, and examinations.
- Assist Retail branches in ATL materials for non-digital channels including instore marketing, flyers, print and other offline media.
- Assist in maintenance and replenishment of in-store marketing collaterals (course brochures and posters).
Concerts, Competition and Events
- To undertake curricular and administrative projects as well as assisting in the organisation of concerts, & festivals, where applicable.
Yamaha Electone Festival (YEF), Yamaha Junior Original Concert (JOC), Yamaha Junior Piano Competition (YJPC)
- To work with and assist Manager in the areas of marketing, operations, and logistics across various events.
- Develop and design administrative documents including localised rules and regulations, participants’ registration forms, judges’ grading sheet etc.
- Ensure budget adherence and tracking.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Execution and delivery of event.
Ad-hoc Projects - Area Marketing and Competitor Survey
- To do area market exercise at interim periods; collate data and understand each district area market’s development to introduce courses that meet the needs of the area market.
- In line with the growth objective of pop music and adult music courses, to work closely with Music Professional(s) in the update and introduction of course(s) in the schools.
- Carry out Adhoc task as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:
- Diploma in Marketing Communications, Visual Communication and/or Advertising and Media Design related discipline.
- 2 years of work experience in areas of marketing and/or advertising. However, fresh grads are welcome to apply.
- Familiar with various social media and digital channels, including digital marketing tools.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite of Products such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Prior experience in data management, business analytics or statistics will be an advantage.
- Detail-oriented person with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative person with strong interpersonal and analytical skills with an eye for detail on the latest market trend.
- Confident, proactive, and dynamic team player who is passionate about making a difference across the organisation.
- Highly motivated and self-driven.
- Problem-solver capable of multi-tasking efficiently and working across multiple projects.
