Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute documentation, including Mawb, Hawb, Manifest, and COO.
- Label cargo as needed.
- Record cost and revenue information in the Kewill system.
- Establish EDI links with customers in the Kewill system, if necessary.
- Keep customers informed about flight details and provide POD for Door-to-Door shipments.
- Dispatch pre-alert emails to destination stations.
- Update destination stations via the Kewill system with pre-alert information.
- Coordinate with destination stations to obtain POD for Door-to-Door shipments.
- Maintain and update mandatory milestones in the Kewill track and trace system.
- Occasionally lift and shift cartons for cargo labeling.
- Inspect physical cargo to assess the need for any re-packing.
- Travel to customer locations or alternate work locations as required.
- Follow up with carriers/co-loaders regarding any off-loading.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Additional Information:
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
- Good working experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
- DG Certification would be an added advantage
