Job Description:
Tender:
- To manage and prepare all the cost estimates for marine-related tender projects. Involves in value engineering and determining the price of the service.
- Support the new project in the following:
- Analyze upstream contract terms and identify possible risks and opportunities related to the application of contract clauses.
- To compute quotations from specialists/sub-contractors, prepare competitive comparison for cost committee before negotiation and award contracts.
- To join the procurement team on complex contracts and negotiations following company policies and legal requirements
- Support negotiation of contract terms and assessment of contract proposals
- Draft, review, and issue contracts and agreements (between customers and the company, with Sub-Contractors and Suppliers)
Commercial & Contracts:
- Prepare Extension of Time and prolongation cost claims with the aid of external consultants.
- Involve and advise requests for equitable adjustment, contract disputes, and contract claims with clients/consultants and subcontractors with the aid of external consultants.
- Consolidate the report to the management on defense against claims, disputes or conflicts, and contractual non-compliance issues during monthly reporting.
Others:
- To check and ensure timely upstream claims to clients are maximized to the company interest including variation order.
- To report any major contractual status that arises after discussion with project sites.
- Update any changes in the project budget.
- To ensure accurate and timely payment responses are certified to the subcontractor’s monthly claim.
Requirements:
- Recognized Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or its equivalent
- 10 years of relevant experience in marine and/or coastal projects experiences or their related field
- Involve from pre-contract stage to post-contract stage
