About the role:
As a Database Administrator (DBA), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the day-to-day operations align with business needs and service level requirements. Ownership of database-related problems, pursuit of issue resolution, and root cause analysis are key responsibilities.

Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate proficiency in:
- Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters)
- ASM (Automatic Storage Management)
- OGG (Oracle Golden Gate)
- ODA (Oracle Golden Appliance)
- ODE (Oracle Exadata)
- OCA (Oracle Certified Associate)
- Windows Platform
- Linux Platforms (RedHat and Oracle Linux)
- RMAN and GRID Control
- Oracle PL/SQL, Linux shell scripting/PowerShell
- Data Administration in SQL Server (2014, 2016, 2017)
Database Management:
- Configure and troubleshoot:
- Clustering, Database Mirroring, Replication, and Log Shipping
- Resolve database integrity and performance issues, blocking, and deadlocking issues
- Utilize SQL server tools (profiler, SSMS, DAC)
- Create and manage indexes, index management, integrity checks, configuration, patching, statistics, etc.
System Administration:
- Windows server, security delegation, SPNs, storage components
- Configure and maintain dataset server and processes
- Implement CIS hardening practices
- Exposure and experience with Government projects preferred
Experience in:
- Installation, Implementation, Evaluation, Configuration, Administration, Operations, Monitoring, and Management, including but not limited to:
- Oracle Database Management (12c / 19c)
- Data Management and Operational Support in MS SQL Server Environment
- Backup/Recovery/Restore: Database Shrink Operations, DBCC Commands
- Operational Automation
- Grid Infrastructure (Clusterware, ASM, Disk Groups, etc.)
- Oracle on Unix
- Support of OGG, ODE, and ODA
- Troubleshooting real-time performance and tuning issues in Oracle Database
- New Software Releases, Patches, and System Upgrades
- All aspects of database tuning: software configuration, memory usage, data access, SQL, and physical storage
- SQL profiler and other related performance monitoring, tuning, query optimization, etc.
- Establish and maintain documentation and standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computing, Engineering, IT, or equivalent.
- Singaporean Candidate able to clear CAT2A Security Clearance
- Demonstrated skills in planning and coordination
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Team player, responsible, and conscientious
- Resourcefulness, independence, responsiveness, and proactivity
