Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Solar PV sector.
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Analyze market trends and competitors to identify strategic business opportunities.
2. Solar PPA Proposal Preparation:
- Lead the preparation of Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) proposals.
- Collaborate with the technical and financial teams to ensure comprehensive and competitive proposals.
- Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs.
3. Returns Calculation:
- Utilize financial modeling tools to calculate returns on investment for solar projects.
- Provide accurate and detailed financial analysis, considering various factors such as project costs, incentives, and revenue projections.
- Present financial models and projections to internal stakeholders and clients.
4. Client Relationship Management:
- Foster strong and lasting relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and inquiries promptly.
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure successful project delivery.
5. Market Research and Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, policies, and regulations related to solar energy.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's business strategy.
- Provide insights on potential market niches and areas for expansion.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development within the Solar PV industry.
2. Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
3. Proven experience in preparing Solar PPA proposals and conducting returns calculations.
4. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
7. In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering principles as they relate to solar PV projects.
8. Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards in the solar energy sector.
9. Chinese speaking is preferred.
