The Role
Zero-Error Systems (ZES) is hiring an associate engineer in Singapore. The associate engineer will support the engineering team in electronic/semiconductor hardware/software installation, product prototyping, troubleshooting and testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup design and test platforms, including electronic hardware installation and software installation
- Support functional and reliability tests to ensure functional safety and performance of ZES products
- Support troubleshooting and failure analysis during the development cycles of ZES products
- Support the logistics, distribution and maintenance of the lab equipment and components
- Generate and maintain the necessary documents and datasets
- Work with the engineering team to deliver hardware products and to perform verifications
- Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and failure analysis for product development
- Support test engineers during product qualification process
- Any other duties assigned
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline preferably in electrical/electronics engineering or computer engineering
- 5+ years of working experience in the related field
- Experience in soldering, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout/schematic, inspection and functional testing
- Experience in operating test equipment (e.g., oscilloscope, ampere-meter, signal generator/analyzer, etc.)
- Experience with electronic hardware and software
- Experience with microcontroller and pertinent platforms
- Experience in troubleshooting in electronics systems/platforms on both hardware and software
- Strong expertise in hands-on troubleshooting and prototyping in embedded systems
- Enthusiastic with microchips based hardware
- Experience in setting up Radio Frequency (RF) systems
- Is a good team player who can work well in a team to solve problems and deliver solutions to meet market needs
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to think critically and is results oriented
Measures of Success
- Support the lab equipment installation and maintenance as a team
- Successfully deploy ZES products and the associated testing/troubleshooting as a team
