Job Duties:
Leadership & Administration
- Lead and inspire our team to achieve the Kindercare’s Spiritual and Operational objectives in line with its Mission and Vision
- Create a work environment that promotes job satisfaction, motivates team members, and supports their mental and emotional well-being
- Manage the Kindercare budget and P&L, ensuring that the Kindercare is appropriately staffed and remains within operational profitability
Team Development
- Actively support development of team members, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement, providing constructive feedback, and creating opportunities for skill development and career growth
- Assess and manage the performance of their team members, which includes goal-setting, conducting regular performance evaluations, recognizing/rewarding outstanding performance and providing coaching/support when performance is below expectations
- Work together with HR for new hire onboarding, on-the-job training, planning of training & development courses for teachers/staff
- Succession planning for teachers who are soon to retire and mentoring of younger teachers
Kindercare Excellence & Focus on Student Growth
- Oversee and maintain a high standard of Quality holistically - covering areas such as curriculum development, digitalization of administrative processes, safety, nutrition and enhancing the learning environment
- Assess/Evaluate current pedagogical approaches to early-childhood learning and propose changes if necessary, focusing on enhancing student growth (both in terms of knowledge as well as the character/spiritual aspect)
- Partnerships with Company and Community
- Work with the Kindercare Committee (leaders and volunteers) to ensure smooth running of Kindercare operations and integration with programmes
- Plan and execute (together with your team and community volunteers) novel activities which are enriching to students and which have effective collaboration with company and/or the Community
- Build strong relationships with Parents and the neighbourhood through effective communication, talks/engagement sessions and other touch-points

Salary:
- up to $6000/month
Requirements:
- Must have minimally a (DECCE-T/L) Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching; or similar with Advanced Diploma in Early Childhood Leadership (ADEC-L) / Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education - Leadership (DECCE-L)
- Degree in Early Childhood Education will be advantageous
- Minimum 5 years of preschool teaching experience and at least 3 years of experience managing a pre-school, kindergarten or childcare centre
- Good leadership qualities and management skills, must have led a team of 6-10 teachers/helpers
- Strong communication and language skills, with experience in digital initiatives such as engaging stakeholders through online channels and usage of mobile portals (eg. Littlelives School Management System)
- Confident in handling Govt-based portals (eg. ECDA CMS system) and good knowledge of fee subsidies/financial assistance schemes/etc
- Experience with SPARK certification is a plus
