- Ensures reliability and maintainability of equipment, processes, utilities, facilities and controls with anobjective to constantly improve site production and cost performance.
- Assists in the development of improved Reliability strategies/program using with a view of process safety, yields, capacity and uptime performance.
- Provides technical support in Reliability issues and assists in trouble shooting process or equipment issues.
- Carryout RCFA for the repeated failures and failures that has an impact to production, quality and safety.
- Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations including capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues.
- Perform RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance) for all critical assets/systems using RCM software and implement the action items generated from RCM.
- Run online/offline condition monitoring program site wide and predict the failures early.
- Promotes, supports, co-ordinates and facilitates multi-disciplinary, multi-level teamwork (reliability)improvement activities, both reactive and proactive, and assists in implementation and follow-up of action items.
- Provides inputs to a risk management plan that will anticipate reliability-related and non-reliabilityrelated risks that could adversely impact plant operations.
- Perform analysis of asset performance including Asset utilization, Overall equipment effectiveness,remaining useful life and capital replacement plans as well as other parameters that define Site MEP KPIs such as availability, maintenance performance, reliability and R&M costs of assets.
- Evaluate content of maintenance plans in CMMS including methods, maintenance frequencies and spare parts needed.
- Gate keeper for the review, implementing and follow up for the Local Authority related assets.
- Examples are the MOM’s statutory pressure vessels, SCDF’s P&FM equipment, etc.
- Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager
Requirement
- Min. bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Mechanical engineering discipline.
- Min 3 years work experience in pharmaceutical/ biological/ chemical/ oil & gas industries.
- Min 3-5 years of reliability experience driving RCM studies and RCFA
- Technical knowledge coupled with hands-on experience in maintenance of processing equipment.

- Comfortable working in a team and matrix environments; high degree of initiative and self-motivation
- Scientific approach to solving problems; makes data-based decisions.
- Keen in driving and adopting new technologies.
- Knowledge of CMMS, Reliability, and proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint,
- Word, Project).
- Knowledge on vibration analysis, RCM and RBI
