Dr Paws Vet Care is looking for senior veterinary nurses/assistants!
We are a new veterinary clinic located in the east part of Singapore. We aim to be a place where everyone works hard but still have a great time together. Friendly banter is allowed but paw-litics will be frowned upon.
We see dogs, cats and pocket pets. We also offer acupuncture services.
We are looking for EXPERIENCED full-time veterinary nurses with the following qualities.
- Only Singaporeans or Singapore PRs
- At least 2 years experience as a veterinary nurse
- Ability to commit for at least a year, the longer the better!
- Self-motivated and hardworking individuals with the ability to work as a team.
- Ability to multitask.
- Willingness to learn and take instructions
- Eager to learn attitude and be open to feedback.
- Willing to constantly upgrade on your veterinary nurse knowledge and skills.
- Love for animals.
- Fluent in English.
- Friendly, polite and able to provide good customer service
Your job scope will involve
- Interaction with clients both face-to-face and over the phone.
- Rotation work between being a receptionist and assisting vets with handling animals and surgeries.
- Dispensing medications
- Care for hospitalized animals.
- Maintaining clinic equipment and cleanliness, including general cleaning duties
- Other Ad-Hoc duties
Working hours:
- Clinic operating hours: Tues-Sat 10am-8pm. Closed on public holidays.
- No overnight duties
- 5 day work week
- 1 weekday and 1 weekend day off per week
