Reporting to the Senior Pharmacist, you will be required to perform drug supply and distribution to inpatient wards and to home care settings. You will support staff development through quality assurance and improvement projects. You will also be involved in the automation process to manage the use of automated dispensing cabinets and the electronic clinical system.
Job Description
- Supplying medication stocks to the inpatient wards and home care teams
- Handling inventory and procurement for physical pharmacy stores and automated dispensing cabinets
- Assist in inventory management of non-pharmaceutical products e.g. milk feeds
- Assist in the implementation of quality improvement projects and activities
- Suggest and implement improvements to workflows and processes
- Comply with medication safety procedures
- Provide basic clinical support to the multidisciplinary team during discussions

Experience
- Preferably with one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
Requirements
