- Process orders timely and accurately.
- Validate order documents and internal governance approvals for orders submitted by Sales.
- Clarify with Sales on the completeness and accuracy of the documents/ information submitted.
- To access in house systems (such BCC, Focal Scope, QS, SIR, Orion, SMOD, etc) to check for order information or resources (where relevant).
- Submit validated order information to order input team for further processing in the order system and ensure the timeliness of order issuance.
- Submit orders to Managed Services Procurement team (MPE) and Data Procurement team (DPE) to place orders with vendors/partners.
- To follow up closely on any issues such as outstanding document, approvals, and system component creation.
- File and store relevant sales documents of orders processed.
- Achieve targets of turnaround time (measure under Performance Measurement) of various order processes.
- Maintain and update order log for tracking.
- Provide statistics and analysis of order processing performance.
- Advice, coach and guide the SDE team (both HQ and offshore) on order raising.
- Work with Product and other stakeholders to fine tune order processes
- Escalate to line management on any issues/problems pertaining to order processing.
- Perform any other duties as required or assigned by Manager/Director.
Skills for Success:
- Diploma
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of telecoms products
- Minimum 1-year relevant experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge in BCC, Focal Scope, SMOD, QS, Orion systems will be an advantage.
