- To carry out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance of electrical & mechanical systems such as Monorail Train, 22kV, 750Vdc, 415Vac switchgear, HV transformers, Traction Rectifiers and Inverters, system, battery chargers, battery banks, UPS System, Cables & 750V Traction Power contact line system.
- To operate engineering vehicles (Training and qualifications will be provided by the company).
- To switch on and off the traction power.
- To comply with relevant procedures and safety requirements when carrying out preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance.
- To comply with and exercise safety in accordance with safety procedures.
- To ensure compliance with Quality objectives as stated in QP, WIs, SWP, RAs, Task lists and checklists in daily activities.
- To ensure spares, tools, and equipment used are in good condition and calibrated if necessary.
- To operate ground support equipment and tools safely in accordance with general handling practices, as assigned by supervisors.
- To drive company vehicles for the purpose of work as assigned by supervisors (For holders of Singapore Driving Licence, familiarisation and authorisation will be provided by the company).
- To operate company forklift as assigned by supervisors (Training and qualifications will be provided by the company).
- To adopt KAIZEN methodology (5M, 5S & 5W) to eliminate 8 Wastes and improve the Productivity and Value of work performed.
- To ensure excellent housekeeping are maintained within all work areas.
- To maintain a high level of work discipline and standards.
- To undertake any other tasks or functions that are incidental or ancillary to the performance of assigned work.
- Required to perform rotating shift work based on the duty roster, including weekends and Public Holidays.
- Working location is at Sentosa Island.
Qualification
Electrical Technicians:
NITEC or equivalent with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronic Engineering in railway maintenance or workshop.
Mechanical Technicians:
NITEC or equivalent with at least three (3) years of relevant working experience in Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering in railway maintenance or workshop.
