We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounts Executive. This position plays a crucial role in managing the financial activities of the company and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments and receipts.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payables, including timely payment to suppliers and reconciliation of supplier accounts.
- Manage accounts receivables, ensuring prompt payment received from customers and highlighting any overdue invoices to the Commercial Team.
- Perform variance analysis, bank and accounts reconciliation.
- Responsible for managing cashbook, fixed assets, and general ledger functions.
- Prepare and coordinate period end closing activities.
- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 1-year working experience in a similar role
- Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, Teams & OneDrive)
- Prior experience in ERP software will be added advantage
- Meticulous, able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Can-do attitude
