Senior Vave Engineer
Work Location: Yishun Industrial Park A [ Canberra MRT] / Have company transport
Salary: $4000 - $6000
Working Days: 5 Days // 8am/8.30am - 5.30pm/6pm
Requirements
- Minimum Degree or Diploma with 5 years experiences in Mechanical / Electrical /Electronic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of Supplier Commodity or Sourcing Management, with Engineering related experience
Main Responsibility
- Main responsibility for the product-related global technical change management in PSG to product end of life
- Value Analysis and Value Engineering Changes, drive cost improvement in close collaboration with Engineering on product cost
Job scope:
- Reporting to Manager / Senior Manager
- Organize, conduct Value Analysis and Value Engineering, to ensure design / cost effectiveness
- Verification of ECP, in close cooperation with R&D Engineer, Project Manager, Production and Source members. Check for optimal feasibility and if necessary, make additions or corrections.
- Responsible for presenting impact of change to PSG with costs, lead-times, scrap risk & forecasted effectivity dates
- Main responsibility for product change management and its implementation in SAP/Teamcenter including participation in PSG meeting / similar meetings
- PSG prioritisation and decision making of lead, PSG or Procurement Engineer – escalate where change outside of PSG capacity
- Carry out assigned task by the Manager / Senior Manager
