Job Description
The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Associate in the Department of Information Systems and Analytics, School of Computing (SoC). SoC is strongly committed to research excellence in all its dimensions: Searching for fundamental results and insights, developing novel computational solutions to a wide range of applications, building largescale experimental systems and improving the wellbeing of society. We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Computer Science and Information Systems.
The Research Associate will be responsible for working closely with the Principal Investigator on one or more research projects.
He/she should possess relevant experience in the following topics:
- Machine Learning and Data Mining
- Clinical and Genomic Data Analysis
- Multiview/multimodal Learning from heterogeneous data sources
- Software development
Experience in modeling heterogeneous/multimodal, temporal data with complex dependencies will be valuable.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Machine learning from a premier institution
- At least 5 years of research experience (demonstrated through publications in top-tier venues)
- At least 5 years of software development experience
- Excellent programming skills in Python (working knowledge of machine learning/data mining libraries like pytorch, numpy, scipy, pandas)
- Strong spoken and written communication skills
