- Have about 2-5 years’ working experience in sales or in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) in trading companies
- Knowledge of petrochemicals industry is strongly preferred but not a must (strong sales cands without petrochemical industry will be considered)

Our client is an international chemical trading and investment MNC backed by a blue-chip parent co which is stable and established. It is based in town (right next to a MRT station). This MNC offers flexi work arrangements (some WFH days is allowed).
For this role, you are part of the sales team.
- Function:
- To assist the Department head and Manager in expanding the Global Sales and Marketing activities of petrochemicals products and improving profitability.
- To cooperate with the group’s global sales team members of petrochemical business to maximize the business value.
- To manage the relationship with key suppliers and customers.
- Job Description
- Comply with safety standards and company policies in the course of conducting business activities assigned to the individual.
- Sales & marketing of Olefins and/or Aromatics related products
- Logistic arrangements of Olefins and/or Aromatics related products
- Maintain close communication, correspondence and make arrangements with suppliers, clients & overseas offices.
- Report to superior on the progress of discussions/meetings with clients & customers.
- Monitoring and reporting market information and trends in relevant industries and informing stakeholders, business/senior management.
- The incumbent must be prepared to work overtime when required as well as go overseas for business trips (Travelling can be around 1 to 2 trips per mth)
- Entertainment with guests and business associates in the evening is sometimes required.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma holder in any discipline
- Preferably with 2-5 years’ working experience in sales or in import & export business (forwarding & trading activities) in trading companies.
- Knowledge of petrochemicals industry is strongly preferred but not a must (strong sales cands without petrochemical industry who are fast learners will be considered)
- Knowledge of Chemical tanker of Gas carrier chartering in preferred. (not a must)
- Able to work well as a team member
- Must be computer literate and able to use MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
