Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their network requirements and design custom solutions.
- Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
- Manage and execute network projects from conception to completion.
- Conduct regular network assessments for clients, recommending improvements and upgrades.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues affecting client systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding their network infrastructure.
- Prepare detailed documentation and network diagrams for client projects.
- Stay current with new networking technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- NITEC or Diploma in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering, preferably in a client-facing role.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, routing protocols, and network security.
