Jackson Square Aviation ("JSA") is seeking to hire a Marketing Analyst/AVP for our regional office in Singapore supporting Marketing. The Singapore team is a supportive, diverse, inclusive, driven and experienced group of aviation professionals with business backgrounds at airlines, airframe/engine manufacturers, lessors, international law firms & financial institutions.
Reporting to the Head of Asia Pacific, supporting the Chief Commercial Officer and Marketing team the successful candidate will be charged with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Developing research and tracking tools that help the Marketing team identify new business opportunities and create business strategies;
- Help collate and categorize market intelligence and deal information through JSA’s Customer Relationship Management software;
- Assist in analyzing remarketing, orderbook placement and financing opportunities for JSA owned and managed aircraft; develop and utilize database analysis and market intelligence tools relating to airline fleet plans, airline prospects, lease rates and values;
- Create regional strategy and market assessment presentations for leadership team, executive team and shareholder audiences;
- Develop specific country level or airline level reports and presentations including assessing fleet, traffic, operational and financial metrics;
- Support marketing team members with research and reports on airline customers;
- Participating in internal deal team meetings as applicable;
- Working on cross departmental ad hoc projects with analytical and financial modelling requirements;
- Assist in the detailed financial and operational analysis of new and existing global airline customers;
- Assist in the development of an independent view on airlines and the markets they operate and aid the ranking and prioritization of counterparties in their respective markets;
- Support the regional Deal Teams, in the transaction structuring, approval, and execution processes;
- Some international travel will be required on an ad-hoc basis;

Required Qualifications / Competencies:
- Legally authorized to work in Singapore, Employment Pass sponsorship could be offered to the right candidate if required.
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following: Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics or similar.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial statements and investment concepts.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects and adaptable to change.
- Highly self-motivated, team orientated and driven to succeed.
- Good understanding of a variety of international cultures and an internationally oriented mindset.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in aircraft leasing, aircraft appraisers, investment/commercial banking, accounting, risk management, or consulting with a financial or accounting focus.
- Demonstration of continued education: a Masters degree, other applicable diplomas, CFA or courses taken in finance, etc. would be an advantage.
- +3 years working experience in aviation and/or finance.
- Strong interest in aviation.
- Foreign language skills.
- Local candidates in Singapore.
