To further the company's growth, it is also expanding actively in overseas markets and is looking for a System and Application Development Assistant Manager for the Building Automation business line to join our team. You will work closely with our management team and will be responsible for growing our business in the Southeast Asia and India region.
Responsibilities
- Supports the System Development Manager and Application Development Manager to research, design, implement and manage software application programs for Digital Intelligent Building Management System in the Southeast Asia and India region.
- Designs and develops applications to realize enhanced building and occupant safety, enhanced occupant experience with reduced costs and increased efficiency.
- Plans, tests and evaluates new software application programs and identifies areas for modifications in the programs for quality assurance.
- Creates engineering manuals and documents to deploy the developed applications in the region.
- Trains and supports engineers in the region on developed applications. Works together with engineers in the region to execute project engineering and system configuration at site.
- Collect feedbacks from the internal and external stakeholders to make continuous improvement.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering; experience in lieu of a degree will be considered for the right candidate. A degree in computer science is preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of programming experience in practical job is required.
- Programming knowledge of Python/Java script/etc
- Strong interest for AI/ML, Digital Twin and energy saving in built environment.
- Ability to communicate and read Japanese as the role requires a lot of communication with HQ and understanding Japanese technical manuals.
- Well versed in specification of Yamatake and Azbil building automation system and product.
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Experience in building automation system programming preferred.
