The incumbent is primarily responsible for driving business growth optimizing WeChat marketing strategies to reach out to audience through the app.
Responsibilities:
- Create development plans with WeChat Mini Programs
- Identify market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
- Meet existing and potential clients and build positive relationships
- Liaise with colleagues to develop sales and marketing strategies
- Prepare financial projections and sales targets
- Prepare sales presentations and participate in sales meetings
- Develop and execute product strategy for WeChat ecosystem products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and prioritize features.
- Conduct user research and market analysis to identify new product opportunities.
- Define and monitor key metrics to track product performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Work with Web team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Develop go-to-market strategies and launch new products.
- Work closely with business teams to identify partnership opportunities.
- Monitor industry trends and provide insights to form product strategy.
- Manage product roadmap and communicate progress to stakeholders.
- Continuously optimize products to improve user experience and drive growth.
- Forecast sales targets and growth projections
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, marketing/business administration
- 3-5 years of experience in WeChat Mini Programs’ product management
- Strong business understanding on WeChat & subscription accounts
- Project management experience in a highly independent, but collaborative environment
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Excellent presentation skills both in English and Chinese
- Work experience in multi-cultural teams / international environment
- Personal characteristics: Good learner, self-motivated, proactive, accountable, energetic, creative skills, problem solver, team player.
- In-depth knowledge of key features and capabilities of WeChat Mini Programs is crucial as part of our overall strategy for reaching Chinese customers effectively.
Incumbent must be willing to travel frequently to China.
