Job Role & Responsibilities
- A Teacher Aide is responsive to the needs of young children. He/she creates a secure environment for young children through nurturing respectful, responsive and reciprocal relationships with them
- Building trusting and respectful partnerships with parents and families
- Actively engages in centre initiatives and supports its collaborative efforts with the community
- Work closely with colleagues and contributes to a culture of collaboration and collegiality
- Engages in continuous learning and reflective practice
Job Requirements
- At least Secondary 2 education or 8 years of formal education and attained an average level of 4 under the Statement of Attainment (SOA) in Employability Skills (ES) WSQ Workplace Literacy (WPL) series
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Passionate and dedicated with children, desires to make a difference in children's learning.
- Multi-lingual in English, Mandarin, Malay or Tamil.
