RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement projects within the established practice to ensure service delivery and support, meeting availability, continuity, and capacity requirements.
- Translate business requirements into infrastructure design.
- Work with service providers to design, develop, deploy, and configure infrastructure to meet resiliency, availability, and data integrity needs.
- Ensure compliance with Authoritys Technical Architecture, SG-TRM, IM8, and Authority IT Policies.
- Manage infrastructure projects and services supporting application systems environments.
- Request the provision of new virtual machines (VMs) for new systems.
- Manage system architecture, resource planning, infrastructure performance, and the system hosting environment from server hardware to the operating system layer (excluding hypervisor and storage) to support new applications.
- Act as the main infrastructure single-point-of-contact for all new application system initiatives.
- Support/assist in application architecture design, integration, acceptance, and infrastructure performance testing.
- Support Operations Engineer on Infrastructure and Systems.
- Assist in Infrastructure Architecture review, support, and endorsement.
- Review hardening standards for the operating system and database.
- Lead the infrastructure on-boarding process, including design, setup, configuration, implementation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure components.
- Understand the systems operations environment and contribute to its enhancement.
- Demonstrate a high level of familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
- Bachelors degree in computer science/ Information Technology/ Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant fields such as Windows, Linux RHEL and AIX OS,OS virtualization technologies, SAN storage and/or databases.
- Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges.
- Ability to analyze and identify comprehensive solutions considering all functional
- implications while developing a workable solution.

- Good communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to pitch ideas and influence stakeholders.
