Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct full range of statutory audit of financial statements and special purpose audits in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing.


• Financial Reporting - Preparation of audited financial statements and compilation of unaudited financial statements based on Financial Reporting Standards.


• Able to lead team members on various sizes of audit engagements planning, fieldwork and finalization of the financial statements for review.


• Identify problems/issues during work processes and highlight to senior management.


• Responsible in assisting audit manager and partner in administrative functions of management of specific portfolios of clients.


• Tax Compliance - Oversee preparation of income tax computations and tax returns for companies, individuals, and not-for-profit associations in accordance with Income Tax Act, for submission to the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore. Tax advisory. Review and finalization of tax computations in accordance with Singapore Income Tax Act.


• Bookkeeping - Oversee the handling the full aspects of bookkeeping, from source accounting documents data entry to finalisation of accounts.


• Review team members' work for accuracy and compliance.


• Training and supervision of junior auditors and staff.


• Successful applicants will develop an understanding of the audit approach, methodology and tools which will include understanding the client's business, performing analytical review of audit documents, assessing the risk of material misstatement, evaluating the internal controls, among others.




Requirements

• Candidate must possess accounting degree or professional qualification, e.g. B.Acc., ACCA, B.Com. in Accountancy, etc.


• Minimum 2 to 4 years experience as an external auditor in a public accounting firm.


• Applicant should be able to work independently and possess professional objectivity as well as communication and organizational skills with emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.


• Candidates must be eager to learn with a positive work attitude, accountability and ensuring deadline is met.


• Well conversant in IT, computer skills, Microsoft 365 Office, Open Office, Quickbooks, etc
