Clarion Events Asia is looking for a highly motivated client success intern for our upcoming regional power & energy event, Enlit Asia!
Enlit Asia is an annual conference and exhibition that unifies two major events in the power and energy sector - POWERGEN Asia and Asian Utility Week. The event is a platform for leading industry providers to showcase innovative solutions, services, and products in line with the Asian strategy to transition to a low-carbon energy supply. It brings together the entire value chain of both power and utility producers and suppliers, covering content and exhibits from source to generation and from grid to consumer.
This internship is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or those aspiring to gain experience in the events sector, with a focus on marketing and client success.
As a Client Success intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Marketing and Sales Managers, and your responsibilities will include:
Client Communication:
- Engaging with sponsors and exhibitors through various channels, including email and phone, to understand their needs and address inquiries promptly
- Assisting in the development of effective communication strategies to enhance sponsors and exhibitors engagement
Customer Support
- Providing timely and effective responses to sponsors and exhibitors’ inquiries and issues
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving sponsors and exhibitors challenges to ensure a positive experience
Collaboration
- Working closely with internal teams, including Sales and Marketing, to ensure a unified approach in meeting sponsor and exhibitor needs
- Participating in meetings and collaborative projects to contribute fresh perspectives and insights
Analytics Support
- Collaborate on detailed analytics packs for advertising clients, providing valuable insights
Social Media Management
- Schedule engaging social media posts across various channels
- Create social media packs tailored for sponsors and exhibitors
Event Technology Management
- Set up and manage the networking platform/event app, handling inquiries both before and onsite at the event.
Registrations and Coordination
- Manage registrations for sponsors and exhibitors
- Act as the main point of contact onsite for sponsors and exhibitors
- Coordinate and manage meetings for sponsors and exhibitors
Customer Experience
- Provide sponsors and exhibitors with an exceptional pre-event and onsite experience, ensuring a seamless networking process
The ideal candidate for this internship is someone who:
- Is detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and precision in all interactions with sponsors and exhibitors
- Is communication-savvy, exhibiting strong written and verbal communication skills
- Is adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced environment and embracing new challenges
- Is customer-focused, committed to delivering exceptional service and building lasting client relationships
- Is tech-savvy, comfortable working with various software tools and platforms
- Is interested in technology and event marketing
- Is interested in social media and familiar with some platforms
- Is able to manage their time well
- Is enthusiastic
- Is proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel and willing to learn other tools
- Is able to communicate clearly and effectively and with confidence
