You will work in the Environmental Health Institute, and part of Project Wolbachia – Singapore, an innovative project that aims to reduce the risk of dengue in Singapore. You will be working in the mosquito production facility.
We are looking for committed individuals to support routine operation for large-scale production of male Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes. Training will be provided. The outcomes are expected to contribute towards improving public health.
The job might be for you if you possess the following qualities:
• Able to systematically perform routine workflow correctly
• Able to handle mosquitoes of different life stages (e.g. larvae and pupae)
• Able to work staggered hours, including after office-hours, weekends and public holidays
• Able to work independently and as a team in a fast-paced working environment
• Physically fit to perform manual work
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
