Establish and drive cost reduction projects and procurement activities in alignment with business and corporate sourcing strategy as per the Annual Operating Plan and Strategic Plan. You will have global responsibility for driving competitive commodity and category supply strategies to achieve the lowest Total Product Cost through Negotiation, Component Engineering, Value Engineering, Business Alignment Event, Transition (Outsourcing/Insourcing), Benchmarking and other sourcing strategy such as Sole/ Single Source elimination, increasing spend in High Growth Region, etc. You will ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures and export/Import regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Procurement Professionals (direct and indirect) globally; provided coaching and development, regular performance feedback, and counseled team members in career development and team goal attainment.
  • Drive a value proposition from BAE (Honeywell Business Alignment Event, combine 5S, Six Sigma, and LEAN)
  • Drive and execute Annual and Strategic Plans with supporting strategies.
  • Partner with business, engineering teams, cost engineering, value engineering to drive cost reduction.
  • Right and Fast execution of strategies to align with business Growth and New Product Introductions
  • Manage Global Commodity Strategies including spend analysis, Benchmarking, Cost, Market Analysis, and Global Technology / Economic trends.
  • Improve Working Capital through Payment Terms extensions, Payment cycle optimization, Vendor Managed Inventories Inventory, and Lead time reductions.
  • Assist in Site Tactical Procurement escalations, reconciliations, and reporting as required.
  • Support global analytics and reporting deployments. Develop AOP, tracking of weekly and monthly progress of projects. Weekly projection of the month's progress to goal or target.
  • Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Ensure the ROI of each project says do.
  • Maintaining accurate Value and meeting project timelines.
  • Align with data and analytics leaders to develop predictive and prescriptive analytical capabilities.
  • Developing and deploying solutions across the Enterprise; ensuring 'best in class’ processes are implemented; supporting implementation teams in their solution validation efforts; ensuring common processes are defined and deployed; working closely with the PMO to ensure the solution is deployed on time, budget quality; tracking and validating benefits.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment and to communicate at all levels in the organization.
  • Ability to engage in senior executive-level relationships and engagements.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity,and uncertainty while operating in a multicultural, global environment.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.

MUST HAVE:

  • 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain or Procurement, preferably in a global company
  • 3+ years in a leadership role within Supply Chain, Procurement leadership
  • Degree in Engineering or Business.
  • Experience in commodity and project/program management.
  • Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management

  • Strategic Sourcing solution skills with the ability to define the problem/issue and create effective strategies to manage our technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process design, change management, testing, and deployments.
  • Self-directed and able to troubleshoot and solve problems independently as well as a team.
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating with senior leadership.
  • Experience developing and driving standard processes/tools across a diverse environment.
  • Project Management and/or Contract Management Experience
  • Professional Certifications in Project/Supply Chain/ Procurement/Contract Management
  • Team Leader experience in Supply Management/Sourcing/Procurement/Business
  • Demonstrated Business and financial acumen.
  • Expertise in data analyses, MS Excel, and Tableau
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean Tools
