Job Description
· Act as a key stakeholder and manage relationships with various departments
· Review, draft and negotiate commercial contracts and legal documents, including engagement letters and non-disclosure agreements
· Work closely with the business teams to provide legal advice on issues (e.g. tax, finance/accounting, employment, corporate and commercial) together with resolution plan
· Provide ongoing operational legal support, including contract reviews, coordination, policy formulation and vendors matters
· Draft and update standard operating procedure (SOP) documenting the tasks, processes and workflows undertaken by the legal team
The Successful Applicant
As a successful applicant, you would have the following skills & qualifications:
· Law degree from a recognized university
· At least 3 years of legal experience in law firm and/or in-house role
· Able to draft, review and negotiate contracts independently
· Strong analytical skills, commercial acumen and ethical mindset
· Able to act autonomously when appropriate and know when to escalate matters
· Able to engage confidently and effectively with stakeholders across seniorities, expertise and cultures
