Job Responsibilities-
- Supervise the procurement of specified items as directed by the Commercial Buyer.
- Ensure compliance with legal import regulations for purchased products.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders when necessary.
- Input order details into internal databases.
- Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluate the quality of procured products.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team for proper storage.
- Maintain accurate records of purchased products, including certification and invoices.
- Update internal databases with current product visuals and marketing materials.
- Support the Commercial Buyer in providing trade data and product information to the sales team (B2B, B2C, export, and e-commerce).
- Address ad-hoc queries from the sales team.
- Act as a liaison to coordinate marketing campaigns with vendors and the in-house team.
- Participate in company trade shows and stay updated on industry trends.
Salary & Remuneration-
Up to SGD 4500 monthly
Job Requirements-
- Minimum 5 years of experience in foodservice supply chain and purchasing.
- Degree in Procurement or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP/ERP is a plus.
- Understanding of purchasing methods, prices, market factors, and reporting procedures.
- Familiarity with best practices in purchasing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for building relationships.
- Excellent time management, meeting deadlines promptly.
- Curiosity and ability to actively seek relevant data.
- Willingness to undertake additional assigned tasks.
