Roles & Responsibilities
Revises and provides counsel on contract terms and conditions, examining project scope and conducting cost negotiations.
Manages project cost control and oversees project budget monitoring for profit optimization.
Also responsible for work-in-progress monitoring, generating WIP reports (comparing revenue, costs, and physical completion), and certifying progress claims.
Handles variation or change request claims, reviews additions and omissions, and substantiates costs.
Prepares documentation for tender bids, including cost spreadsheets and profitability analysis.
Manages contractual disputes with internal and external stakeholders, prepares contract documents and agreements, and collaborates with legal counsel on contract arbitration or litigation.
Identifies project risks, defends claims, resolves disputes, and works with the Managerial Accounting Manager on budget forecasting and project cashflow reviews.
Collaborates with Business Units for monthly project progress and costing updates.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives and best practices development.
Requirements:
A relevant degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Contracts Management.
Proficiency in interpreting financial statements
