Roles & Responsibilities


As part of the Corporate Planning team, you will support the strategy development, corporate planning and corporate communications processes relating to the overall SASCO Senior Citizens’ Home, incorporating a Sheltered Home, four (4) day-care centres and two (2) Senior Activity Centres. This includes coordinating inputs from relevant departments to facilitate the establishment and implementation of a business cum organisational excellence framework. You will perform horizon scanning to support the development of elder care, monitoring the progress of key work streams for the development of our various facilities across the areas of services planning (providing), communications and outreach engagement, and sustainable corporate finance and resources.


Some Key Functions


1. Assist in the coordination and implementation of the corporate communications framework and channels – website and social media platforms, coordinating with the various departments and facilities for official media reports, messages and publicity materials.

2. Coordinate the marketing functions and brand strategy management, with an acumen for designing, report-writing and presentations, budget planning and excellent administrative skillsets.

3. Assist in administrative functions relating to fundraising, innovative funding programmes including data analyses as relevant.


Requirements


4. Preferably a bachelor’s degree in mass communications or related discipline with at least 3-5 years of working experience.

5. Experience or involvement in strategic planning and corporate affairs, with strong planning skills and budgeting knowledge will be an advantage.

6. Team player, highly initiated with excellent planning, analytical, communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.

7. Familiar with data analysis and presentation softwares.

8. Highly motivated individual with the ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenging conditions.

9. Ability to write and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

10. Understanding of IPC reporting format and requirements.

11. Understanding of charity fundraising principles and guidelines will be an advantage.
