Job Description:
- Provide quotations for FCL & LCL Sea freight to both international and domestic customers.
- Drive sales within the Freight Forwarding Division.
- Ensure timely updates of rates and communicate market trends to all stakeholders.
- Maintain a robust portfolio of regular customer accounts to sustain business.
- Gather market insights and collaborate closely with the Pricing/Procurement Team.
- Engage with slot operators and liaise with liners across Singapore.
- Propose solutions to agents regarding shipments and related matters.
- Demonstrate proactive, assertive, and strong teamwork skills.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Shipping.
- Possess extensive knowledge of the Singapore and Far East markets within the freight forwarding industry.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrates efficiency and accuracy in work tasks.
- Proficient in both written and verbal communication in English.
- Customer-centric approach with a proactive mindset.
- Holds a solid track record of achieving business targets and maintaining a diverse client base.
- Exhibits an assertive approach to generating business.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
