Our client is a global PE firm backed by a blue chip and international investment firm. The co’s global HQ is in Singapore with operations in Europe and US. It manages more than S$4 billion funds.
It is now hiring a finance manager role. For this role, you will be an integral part of the Finance Team working closely with key stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes for the Fund Management entities in Singapore, the United Kingdomand the United States. This role reports to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all accounting and tax functions relating to the Fund Management entities (both Singapore and overseas).
- Maintain oversight over the day-to-day accounting, monthly and quarterly financial close processes, including consolidation.
- Work with tax agents / advisors to ensure compliance with local tax filing obligations. This includes, and is not limited to VAT / GST filings, tax incentive applications, annual declarations, corporate income tax filings, transfer pricing, etc.
- Manage the budgeting and forecasting process for the Fund Management entities as well as provide quarterly updates on utilisation to key stakeholders.
- Liaise with external auditors to resolve accounting issues and coordinate audit process.
- Key contact for shareholder reporting matters which include reviewing the consolidation performed by accounting agent, ensuring reporting package in Hyperion is completed on time and accurately, etc.
- Monitor liquidity requirements of the Fund Management entities including treasury management and foreign exchangeanalysis.
- Support Financial Controller in building up operating policies and procedures, including digitalisation of workflows, etc.
- Collaborate with the Legal Team on various filing obligations.
- Managing a junior resource.
- Any other ad-hoc projects as assigned from time to time.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance with professional accounting qualification
