The Opportunity:
Clarion Events Asia is looking for an innovative, experienced producer to join the Singapore team, spearheading digital and annual events regionally. The ideal candidate will be a commercially minded, market focused individual who revels in researching trends and impactful angles, speaking and networking with the industry and uncovering new and profitable topics for established events.
This role comes with a high degree of autonomy and diversity, and includes taking responsibility for, and delivering: researching, agenda development, speaker sourcing, copy writing and steering the various functional teams towards success.

Key Responsibilities:
The Conference Producer will work across the InsureTech Connect Asia Flagship (ITC Asia), InsureTech Connect Japan (ITC Japan), Roadshows and Digital events with responsibility to deliver all aspects of conference content across the programme lifecycle. The producer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships within the industry. Specifically, responsibilities includes:
- In-depth industry research and development to outline a commercially successful conference program
- Continual assessment of regional and global market dynamics to identify opportunities for the development of conference content offerings
- Development and management of new and existing relationships with relevant market stakeholders
- Researching and providing strategic and market information to marketing and sales functions in terms of sector and geographic markets including value propositions, competitive events analysis and market mapping information
- Creating, liaising and managing advisory committees
- Speaker identification and acquisition of both technical and strategic (including c-suite) industry influencers and business leaders
- Conducting in-depth telephone, face to face and desktop research with potential attendees, speakers and sponsors in the target market to develop commercially viable agendas and relevant formats to drive participant ROI.
- Continued speaker engagement to ensure successful onsite delivery
Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours:
- We are seeking a commercially-minded and intuitive Conference Producer with at least 2-3 years production experience
- Candidates with relevant transferable skills and experience may be considered
- Ability to write commercially attractive and industry accurate copy for conference agendas, newsletter articles, team briefings and marketing sales collaterals for our communities to promote sessions and attract an audience of paying delegates
- Excellent networking and information gathering abilities
- Engaging, professional, and diplomatic demeanour
- Comfortable conducting video calls and face-to-face meetings with industry figures at all levels
- Advanced negotiation skills and the ability to thrive under pressure
- Self-disciplined and able to work both independently and as part of a team adhering to time-sensitive deadlines
- Proficient at multi-tasking, working on more than one project at a time
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate, dedicated, and knowledgeable about developing smart, profitable, and industry-leading conferences
