You will be assisting the Centre Supervisor for implementing and supervising all aspects of daily teaching and development activities for children enrolled in the Student Care Programme.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare lesson contents and teaching environment.
- Supervise activities to achieve developmental objectives.
- Provide mentoring or coaching to the Junior Mentors in the centre.
- Daily administration - attendance, grade records, health and safety, etc
- Maintain order in classroom and on playground.
- Implement creative ideas, activities, and stimulating lessons and encourage students’ participation in classroom activities.
- Address and counsel student behaviour as needed.
- Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with YMCA’s philosophy.
Requirements:
- Degree/ Diploma in Education or Early Childhood related.
- Minimum 4 years of Student care experiences in similar set up is a must.
- Patient and passionate about teaching children
- Friendly and cheerful with good interpersonal skills and organisation skills.
