What will I be doing?
As the Cluster Assistant Paymaster / General Cashier, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all team members and casual labours.
- Maintain strict confidentiality at all times of all information related to payroll records.
- Coordinate with the Human Resources team to maintain a complete and accurate database of employee particulars and salary details.
- Ensure proper documentation and approvals are obtained before making any changes to payroll data and employee records.
- Review daily timesheets of all team members and raise queries to supervisors for any discrepancies noted.
- Prepare monthly payroll reports and reconciliation for review by Cluster Paymaster and Cluster Director of Finance.
- Prepare payroll journal entries for posting and updating into accounting records.
- Prepare annual income tax filing for all team members and assist with any income tax queries from team members.
- Responsible for the Hotel’s daily cash collection and to issue, control and maintain all Hotel cash floats in accordance to the policies and procedures.
- Carry out regular collection of cash and daily banking of cash and cheque receipts.
- Maintain proper records of cash receipts and banking transactions.
- Calculate and pay out F&B tips to all eligible cashiers on monthly basis.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Cluster Paymaster as and when required.
What are we looking for?
A Cluster Assistant Paymaster / General Cashier serving Hilton Brands is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:
- Diploma in Accountancy, or equivalent professional qualifications
- At least 1 years of working experience as Paymaster or other similar position.
- Good knowledge of Singapore labour law and policies
- Flexible with working hours and possess a strong commitment to ensure reporting timelines are met.
- Strong administrative and time management skills
- Professional and able to maintain strict confidentiality of all information related to payroll
- Fluent in both written and spoken English to meet business needs.
