Responsibilities:
- Prepare the basis of design, functional requirements, process description, performance measurement criteria, and commissioning plans
- Having prior experience in Hydrogen, CO2, and Ammonia will be advantage
- Prepare process flow diagrams, plot plan, piping & instrument diagrams, process specs for equipment
- Analyze new and existing flows through terminals by preparing a flow model conceptual digital twin
- Carry out technical calculations using Global engineering design tools and processes to support designs
- Review and prepare project design specifications; comply with local regulations, Vopak standards, and international standards while developing designs
- Support the execution of the project plan for different project phases
- Review engineering documents during project execution
- Support or promote new tools and methods to improve the overall process
- Develop new tools and adapt existing tools to cover new and emerging technologies and business areas such as new energies
- Stakeholder engagement; raising GE profile among project engineers within the organization, training other project engineers as required
- Engage in the technical knowledge management process (RF), training community of RF key users where required
- Support project reviews/workshops during project design
- Assist with resource planning for Global Engineering, monitoring project progress, and preparing reports on status
- Assist in the process of preparing project estimates, budgets, schedules, and execution plans
- Empowering the BD community (FAST tool development, roll-out, and support)
- Help to prioritize within the Global Engineering department (projects, long-term initiatives) and to contribute the Global Engineering vision/mission
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in a project/process engineering position in a related industry
- Knowledge of piping systems, tanks, and equipment including pumps, compressors, and valves
- Fluent in English and open to travel
