JOB SUMMARY
The Asst Manager / Manager of SSHWS Active Aging & Senior Care Centre is responsible for delivery, maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the service. It is his/ her responsibility to supervise, train, motivate team, manage programs/ activities, strategize process improvements and deliverables, among other things.
Play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the elderly population within the facility. This position requires a dynamic and experienced leader who will oversee, strategize, plan, review activities, manage a team of healthcare professionals, and collaborate with community partners to promote the health and well-being of elderly residents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
Leadership
- Provide leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery service model & desired outcomes.
- Oversee and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans.
Team Management
- Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and achieve optimal performance.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and continuous learning.
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss client care, address concerns, and share best practices.
Quality Assurance
- Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
Collaboration
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff, to provide comprehensive care for residents.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and plan resident care.
- Proactive in seeking collaboration internally across SSHWS services & external parties.
Education and Training
- Develop and conduct training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Stay updated on the latest healthcare trends, guidelines, and technologies relevant to elderly care.
Communication
- Maintain open and effective communication with residents, their families, and staff members.
Budget Management
- Work collaboratively with the finance department to manage budget efficiently.

- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards in Singapore is an advantage.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Diploma & above
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
