Job Summary:
We are looking for experienced DevOps Engineers to join our Platform engineering team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure that the platform is highly available, secure and automated which shall be able to handle most of the varied workload in a cost effective manner. You will be responsible to identify the bottlenecks, and upgrade the platform and ensure that platform is highly available and efficiently managed with no downtime .
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with development and operations teams to ensure that platform is highly available, secure and automated for handling most of the manual tasks in order to reduce the overall project delivery lifecycle.
- Automate the manual tasks by creating the pipelines or open source automation tools i.e, Shell/Python scripting, Ansible, Terraform.
- Develop and implement security solutions to address any vulnerabilities
- Deployment experience, configuring, and troubleshooting software applications, systems, and client software on Linux Servers e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu etc.
- Experience in handling the client issues at absolute time and work collaboratively with all team
- members in delivering the solutions to the given problem.
- In addition to technical responsibilities, the candidate shall be self-motivated, have excellent interpersonal communication and must be an exceptional team player.
- Day-to-day monitoring, backup, deployment(automation) and maintenance of platform components.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
- Traffic Engineering Experience is desirable but not mandatory.
- 6+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Hands On experience with cloud platforms i.e., AWS, GCP or Huawei Cloud.
- Strong background in Windows and Linux operating system e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu etc and scripting language e.g., Shell/Perl/Python.
- Strong in troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis for any code cum platform issues.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Go, Node JS, Angular JS.
- Familiarity with modern development practices such as continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) Jenkins/GitLab Ops, and its pipeline along with version control systems e.g., git or svn
- Hands-On experience in managing the containerized and orchestration environment using docker, kubernetes,helm charts, rancher, ISTIO service mesh etc.
- Hands-On experience in using the IaC automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef for infrastructure and configuration management
- Working experience in working with Identity and Access management framework for SSO Integration e.g., keycloak, Ping, Oracle IDMS etc.
- Working experience in working with platform components e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Zuul-Api Gateway, Eureka- Service Registry etc.
- Familiarity with micro services and related components i.e., spring boot, spring cloud config, swagger, postman etc for troubleshooting any issue end-to-end.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
